Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated 2026-07-27

NorthSolarCalc links out to EnergySage, a solar installer quote-comparison marketplace, from the calculator and several region and blog pages. We participate in EnergySage's partner/referral program, and we have also registered as a publisher on Impact.com, an affiliate platform used by several solar and home-services brands. Depending on the status of those relationships at any given time, clicking through and requesting quotes via those links may result in NorthSolarCalc earning a referral commission from the business you engage with.

This does not cost you anything extra. Any commission we might earn is paid by the business receiving your inquiry (e.g., an installer or EnergySage itself) out of their own marketing budget — it is not added to any quote or price you're offered.

A commercial relationship never guarantees a recommendation. Our calculator's numbers (system size, gross cost, incentives, payback, savings) are computed the same way for every state and province regardless of whether we have an active partnership there — see our methodology. We do not accept payment from any installer to alter their standing, visibility, or the figures shown to you.

We link to EnergySage because it is a well-known, free-to-use marketplace for comparing solar quotes, not because of the referral relationship — we would link to it either way as a useful next step for readers who want real, local quotes.

If you have questions about a specific link or our current partnerships, contact us at info@northsolarcalc.com.
